SUAA President Randy Dunn Moderates a Discussion with Elizabeth Ginsberg, a senior policy analyst and urban planner at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), and Alaine Gabarik, the Director of Policy Analysis for the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability (CTBA). The two discuss a proposal put forth by CMAP, CTBA, The Civic Federation, and the Illinois Economic Policy Institute that would apply the sales tax to consumer services to increase state revenue.

The Pritzker Administration has provided consistent and steady funding over the last several years. However, Illinois' structural deficits, and a possible push to re-write the Illinois Constitution in 2028 will require every SURS participant to become involved. In this session, learn how you can amplify your voice with SUAA.
