SUAA 2025 Annual Meeting

The NEIU SUAA Chapter Board is inviting 2 of our members to attend the SUAA 2025 Annual meeting to be held in June.  The Chapter will pay for the registration fee, transportation (train or mileage if driving), and one night's lodging.  Those attending will need to pay for their transportation and lodging and will be reimbursed after the conference. If you are interested in attending please email me no later than April 24.  If more than 2 people wish to attend, 2 members will be picked randomly.

The 2025 SUAA Annual Conference & Business Meeting Registration is open!

We look forward to seeing ALL MEMBERS & DELEGATES taking advantage of new ways to network and connect with colleagues in a new hotel. The 2025 conference will offer more learning opportunities for employees and retirees of Illinois public higher education institutions alike. SUAA Chapter Delegates will again convene this year for our important work together in the House of Delegates, and we invite ALL SUAA Members to join us.

This year’s event is designed for everyone!

SUAA is expanding the programming and content we offer to a growing audience. We thrive on feedback and welcome your input on how to continue to provide an increasingly better conference at an affordable cost for all. We believe we have done that this year.  

Staff is looking forward to welcoming Members and Delegates to a new hotel venue, the Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Normal, IL, and offering more speakers, meals, and breakout sessions than ever before. SUAA has reserved a block of rooms at the hotel, so, as usual, book early! Our invited keynote is an Illinois Constitutional Officer that many anticipate has ambitions to move up the ladder in the next election cycle. We are in the process of confirming speakers from the General Assembly, our partners at SURS, and numerous exhibitor partners, including the Bank of Springfield, Allstate, American Senior Benefits, Collette, and others.
