SURS Retiree Appreciation Day!

Today is SURS Retiree Appreciation Day! We want to again thank Rep. Stefanie Kifowit for working with SUAA to pass SURS Retiree Appreciation Day in the Illinois House (HR 89) and Sen. Harriss for doing so in the Illinois Senate (SR 112) in the spring legislative session.


If you can not celebrate the day with us at the SUAA Annual Conference, we hope you can do so in your own special way.


Yesterday, members of the SIUE-SUAA Chapter and SUAA staff met with Sen. Harriss in Edwardsville to celebrate the resolution and thank her for sponsoring it.
